A perfectly tailored country house wedding in Sussex
With 38 grand bedrooms, you and your guests can celebrate your marriage with a ceremony, reception and then sleep well in one of our indulgent and luxurious suites.
For larger weddings, light and airy Shelley Suite can cater for up to 110 guests for the reception and a total of 150 guests for the evening event, with the Wakehurst Suite catering for 15 to 30 guests.
The Library, Asquith and Churchill are licensed for civil ceremonies in the main house with the Wakehurst and Shelley Suites licensed for civil ceremonies in the new contemporary side of the hotel.
The *Shelley* and *Wakehurst Suites* access a private bar and overlook landscaped gardens which can be used as a tranquil setting for your drinks reception.
The elegant suites including the Asquith and Churchill within the main house are perfect for intimate weddings for 2 to 16 guests and have views encompassing the gardens.
AG's Restaurant can also accommodate between 20 - 40 guests for a wedding breakfast, an ideal small wedding venue. Drinks can be served outside in the gardens or in the Grand Hall and Library.
The manicured gardens around the property are beautifully designed to host "just for two" packages, which include photography, flowers and lunch.
Alexander House is also ideal for a lavish hens' party. Our Group Escapes Package includes cocktail on arrival, accommodation in our Classic rooms, dinner, breakfast and a choice of spa treatments in our heavenly Utopia Spa.
