Our fine dining restaurant, Alexander's is open again at lunchtimes - Tuesday - Saturday - 12noon - 2.00pm.
Alexander's Restaurant is renowned for its fabulous modern European cuisine, rare wines and vintage ports.
Our menus emphasise the goodness of fresh, natural foods carefully prepared and artistically presented. Much of our ingredients are from the local area.
We are proud to offer our guests an extensive world class wine list featuring over 200 bins.
The hotel has been awarded two AA Rosettes for high standards of cuisine and has achieved the RAC level four dining award.
Alexander House Hotel is also well known for their afternoon teas which are served in our manicured gardens in the Summer or by roaring log fires in the Winter.

April 15th 2008 - Champagne Joseph Perrier
This Champagne house was founded in 1825 by Joseph Perrier in the town of Chalons-sur-Marne. His Champagne is recognised throughout the world as of the highest quality. The House is still managed by descendants of Joseph Perrier and they are rightly very proud of the family tradition. Their range of Champagnes win accolades from the specialist wine writers on a regular basis and many of those Champagnes will be served during the dinner.
The speaker for the night will be Martin Gammon who is Champagne Joseph Perrier’s UK representative.
£55.00 per person
Should you wish to stay after the Gourmet Dinner rooms rates would be £50.00 per person sharing a Superior Bedrooms to include Accommodation, full English breakfast and VAT.
