Alexander House Hotel

Alexander House and Utopia Spa - The Gardens

The hotel is set in 175 acres of private gardens and parkland where the rose gardens offer a tranquil setting with the warmth of the sun. For the more adventurous, wellington boots are provided to wander the estate.

15 acres of mature gardens surround the hotel with the South Lawn featuring a 250 year old Monkey Puzzle tree and a beautiful conifer planted by the late HRH The Queen Mother.

Wisteria, roses, heathers and sculptured topiary all feature within the beautiful manicured gardens. Vast areas of rhododendrons give a superb performance of colour in early spring giving way to roses and geraniums in the summer.

A wide variety of birds, resident rabbits, squirrels and our family of deer can be found roaming the vast acres.

Our grounds are truly a delight to spend some time in.

We are please to announce that we offer all residents use of Mountain Bike on our designate Trekking Trail.
