Our immediate gardens are 15 acres and the surrounding parkland is 160 acres. The South lawn features an amazing monkey puzzle tree which is 250 years old and a beautiful conifer tree planted by the late HRH The Queen Mother.

The oldest part of the present house, facing the south lawn, was probably a farmhouse, dating from the 17th Century. A stone dated 1608 survives in the boundary wall and this is thought to be a lintel from an earlier building on the site.
