Private Dining Rooms at Alexander House, West Sussex
From birthday suppers to afternoon tea parties
Holding no less than 5 AA rosettes in total, Alexander House is a very special destination for exceptional cuisine. Boasting two restaurants, a series of glamorous drawing rooms, the champagne bar and fabulous sun-soaked terraces, there are few finer locations to mark the special moments in life than at Alexander House.
All located in the original house, our drawing rooms are ideal for private dining for up to 40 guests. Dining options include tasting menus from our 3-AA rosette restaurant AG’s, relaxed menus from our 2-AA rosette restaurant Reflections along with BBQs, bowl food and much more.
Discover our private lunch, dinner & afternoon tea options below. For larger celebrations, our Shelley Suite, named after Percy Shelley the former owner of Alexander House, is the perfect option for up to 130 guests.
Perfect for up to 40 Guests
Headed by our acclaimed chef Johnny Stanford, AG's is our 3-AA rosette dining destination. Whilst you'll most often find AG's bustling with hotel guests experiencing our tasting menu, it is available for private hire for lunches and on selected evening dates. Our largest drawing room in the Main House, AG's can seat up to 40 guests for a gastronomic experience like no other.
Perfect for up to 10 Guests
Almost opposite AG's is the Asquith Suite. A beautiful room with polished walnut dressers, a charming fireplace and views across the gardens. The Asquith can hold up to 10 guests and both AG's and Reflections menus are available to enjoy here.
Perfect for up to 16 Guests
The Churchill is next to The Asquith and enjoys the same beautiful garden views with an abundance of natural light. Elegantly decorated in cool-cashmere neutrals, The Churchill is a soft, chic space perfect for celebrations of all kinds for up to 16 guests. We particularly like it for afternoon tea parties.
The Chalfont / APRES
Perfect for up to 14 Guests
The Chalfont is located opposite the 1608 Champagne Bar, as is a bright suite with white-washed wood panelling. In the winter months, The Chalfont transforms into 'APRES', our ski-themed dining experience (pictured) with alpine menus, plenty of gluhwein and candlelight.
