With more and more of us working from home based away from our major cities, and discovering some of the challenges this brings, we at the Alexander Hotel Collection have created a range of offerings to give you a bit of the office when you need it most.

Blue Sky Thinking & Outside Team Building
At all of our country house destinations, we have acres and acres of the great outdoors for all manner of team building. From forest bathing (it's not all raft building you know...) to sipping champagne around the campfire (because, why not?) there's plenty of ways to inspire and motivate your team in our gardens. Indoors of course, we've got the best mixologists, chef demonstrations, calligraphers, painters and much more on hand in our team or local to us to create unforgettable and rewarding experiences for your team.
Filming Locations & Accommodation for Cast & Crew
From a simple hall to a grand staircase all five of our properties are available for hire for filming as well as accommodation for cast & crew. We offer flexible hours and a range of locations just outside London.
Whether its internal or external filming we have plenty of space for all your needs including plenty of car parking for vehicles. Our hotels offer a hugely diverse range of backdrops - historic, contemporary, gardens of all types & size, woodlands, real fires, dramatic staircases, impressive front doors, contemporary & historic bedrooms, grand corridors, spas and cosy lounges..... the list is endless! We offer hybrid events at all our hotels. It's not always possible to get your whole team together in these Covid times, especially if long distance travel is required. If you can’t get everyone together face to face but want to share the same conversation or presentation we have just the solution - a hybrid meeting.
Technology can link up all your delegates from wherever they are in the world - at home, the far away office, or an adjacent meeting room and bring you together virtually so you are all in the same room. We work with Platinum Productions, who have the up to date equipment and expertise in this field to provide seamless hybrid meetings utilising high definition video and audio via a platform to suit your business, whether through Zoom, Teams or another platform of your choice. Their technology will allow you not only to connect with people who cannot travel to you but also to host larger events when social distancing and government guidelines prevent meeting in person.
Exclusive, Semi-Exclusive & Private Retreats
All our hotels are prefect for a exclusive use or private retreat event, where your delegates can enjoy their own private spaces away from any other guests. We can serve all meals in your own 'meeting bubble' & set up an easy check in & out facility just for you.
Great Fosters has The Coach House, a short walk from the main building with three meeting rooms set around a courtyard, private lounge and 21 self contained bedrooms, whilst Barnett Hill has two gorgeous 1st floor meeting rooms overlooking the Surrey Hills and nearby bedrooms to match.
Langshott Manor has 22 bedrooms and you can take the entire property just for you, giving you exclusive use of the meeting rooms, cosy lounges and dining spaces. Rowhill Grange has The Pavilion, a light airy meeting room for up to 24, complete with two smaller boardrooms above.
Alexander House has The Shelley & Wakehurst suites with their own private entrance and garden, perfect when you are after seclusion. Combined with the adjacent Garden Suites its the ultimate in privacy.
Our Co-Working spaces around the Collection have been designed to give you a charge of that je ne sais quoi that we miss working at home, whilst being socially distanced. Working from home is great, but it can have its challenges - so when you want some peace from the kids, cats or builders or just want a change of scenery and the energy boost of being in the room with other creatives, head to one of our properties.
Arranged in large, airy meeting spaces, our Co-Working rooms have just a few workstations set up to allow full social distancing measures to take place. When you arrive, you'll be shown to your reserved desk available to you for the day from 08.30 till 17.30, which will be set with fresh fruit, bottled water and writing paper plus pens or pencils, and sanitiser, for you to use and keep.
We've not forgotten the most important bit too - coffee! (or tea). You'll have bottomless filter coffee or teas to keep you powered throughout the day, included in your 'day desk rate'.

Private Meeting Room Hire
The buzz of Co-Working is sometimes just the ticket but equally there are days when you need some peace and quiet or some private time with your colleagues. With that in mind, all of our private dining and meeting spaces are now available for private hire for the day. Available for one guest up to thirty (in line with current Government guidelines), you can order what you wish on the day and otherwise you'll be left in peace to crack on in pretty plush surroundings.
