Served in the historic Anne Boleyn drawing room Garden Room & Cocktail Bar, and in the summer months on the terrace overlooking the parterres, afternoon tea at the Great Fosters estate is an elegant affair indeed. From delicate bavarois to moreish eclairs, the changing array of fancies are always delicious, and are served alongside warm, freshly baked scones and our exquisite sandwich selection. It makes a beautiful gift to a loved one, or an indulgent treat for yourself.  Plus, we're now offering our rather popular doggy afternoon tea so you can treat your four legged friend too.

Perfect for surprising someone special, or a catch up with your friends, afternoon tea at Great Fosters is a wonderful treat and the best way to escape for a couple of hours, whatever the occasion may be.

Guests are welcome to keep their table for up to two hours.  We' re delighted to cater for any guests who require a vegetarian, vegan, dairy free or gluten free afternoon tea.  Please request these when making your reservation.

Please note we do not accept cash payments.

We have one larger table that can accommodate up to 10 guests for afternoon tea.  We’re also delighted to accommodate tables of 10 or more in one of our beautiful private rooms.

We are proud to offer vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and vegan afternoon tea and are more than happy to accommodate other dietary requirements when notified in advance. Please advise at the time of booking and allow 48 hours notice.
