Outdoor pool (May to September), tennis court, trim trails and more
Take your leisure at Great Fosters
The Great Fosters Estate is something of a playground for all the family. With 55 acres of gardens, studded with sculptures and dotted with games, there's is much and more to explore. From the piggery to the bee hives to the kitchen gardens, there's plenty to excite the green-fingered or little ones excited to see the animals. For the sporty among us, there are trim trails, cycle routes (with rather distinguished Great Fosters bicycles available to hire), tennis courts and a short drive (or a brisk walk) from the estate, a fully equipped gym at the Egham Orbit.
Further afield, there's so much to do in the local area, including historic tours of Windsor, Hampton Court and Great Windsor Park, a horticultural day at the RHS's flagship garden Wisley or perhaps a day out at Legoland or Thorpe Park.
Available to our resident guests, why not book in for a spot of tennis? We'll provide the rackets and balls of course, and we can even arrange a coach too if you'd like to brush up on your serve or perhaps even try it for the first time. Contact us below to book your slot.
Located a brief drive or a brisk walk away, Egham Orbit provides first-class gym facilities and an indoor pool. Our resident guests are welcome to attend to the gym for an additional cost which is payable directly to Egham Orbit and includes an induction on the first visit, and subsequent visits can be taken as you wish for a small fee.
Windsor Great Park
Take a walk through nearby Windsor Great Park (little ones should bring their scooters or bikes) to see a magnificent totem pole, deer and acres of paths, lawn, woodland and of course Virginia Water lake! Why not ask us to prepare a picnic to take with you? Otherwise there is an excellent cafe at the Savill Garden entrance.
There is plenty for families nearby including a visit to Windsor Castle, boating on a paddle steamer down the Thames, an indoor or the new outdoor escape room experience round Windsor or even a chocolate workshop making your very own chocolates! We can help you avoid the queues and book your tickets for you in advance and just add the cost on to your room bill.
Legoland is an unforgettable day out for pre schoolers and primary aged children and only 20 minutes from the hotel. Book your Legoland tickets here. Teenagers will enjoy the thrills at Thorpe Park, only 10 minutes away (a mask is currently required).
