Al fresco dining, picnics and garden walks at Rowhill Grange, Kent

Those summer nights...

"Gardening is how I relax; it's another form of creating and playing with colour." - Oscar de la Renta

Rolling lawns, meadows and more - our 'back garden' is a rather special spot. Wrapping around our glorious country house hotel in Kent, our garden comes to life in the summer months with picnicking, al fresco dining and more. Read on to discover what our garden will offer this summer, and get ready to feel the grass beneath your feet and the sun on your skin.

Please note, for our picnic afternoon teas and garden visits, should the weather be against us you are welcome to take your picnic tea home to enjoy.

From June 18th - July 3rd

Garden Strolls & Picnic Lunches

Set in 15 acres of grounds, Rowhill Grange is perfect for a stroll in the countryside. Between the 18th of June and our eventual 'proper' reopening, anticipated on the 4th of July, we're throwing open the doors to our grounds for a lovely stroll with afternoon tea picnics, on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Each fifteen minutes from 11am till 5pm we'll be accepting up to six guests at a time for a two-hour visit to explore our grounds and woodland, with a delicious afternoon tea to enjoy where you settle. Until we reopen on the 4th of July the House will be closed, so do schedule in a pit-stop before you arrive and please bring your own blanket. Four-legged friends and little ones very welcome.

To book, simply select 'Afternoon Tea' on the diary below. Priced at £50 per couple, payment will be taken at the time of booking.
